All indications are that my family lived in Dorset County, England prior to coming to America in the mid to late 1600′s. Since I found this out many years ago, I have been fascinated with everything about the Dorset area. Dorset has a rich history that dates back to neolithic times. Many different peoples have lived in the area including the Celts and the Romans.
